New Chef!

I am so excited to announce that we have a fabulous new Executive/Banquet Chef Michelle Delfillipo! She came to us from Highland Manor. Her food is to die for and her personality is delicious! We are very happy to have her with us and on our team here at Alaqua. Our Brides are going to be thrilled with her work!

Summer Vacation!

My children and I have had a very eventful summer so far! We spent a long weekend with my husband Pat at the beach for Fathers Day weekend...so much fun! Then my children and I drove to Virginia to stay a week with amazing friends and then drove to NJ for 10 days to stay with another group of amazing friends and then drove back to FL with our new puppy Isabeau! We stopped along our long road trip and visited some interesting places. Ava Grace and Jax loved it! Summer vacation is almost over :( !
Since I have been back to work it has been non-stop and I love it! I am so looking forward to my Fall Wedding Season here at Alaqua and I cannot wait to show you tons of pictures! I know I have to blog everyday and I promise to work on it. For now I will post a bunch of updates! Tell your friends about us!

I had a fantastic meeting with one of my newest brides Amy Irons. She is getting married to fiance Ryan Lutz on Saturday, December 17th of this year! Very exciting as usual for me! The meeting went well and I got to meet her MOH Jessica who was very nice. The girls enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the club which was a nice way to end the evening. Happy Planning Amy!

 This post is long over due which is not surprising coming from me! ;) My lovely bride Marilyn booked Alaqua site unseen (from NYC) relying on pictures and her wonderful mother Miriams word. In April during Easter she was able to make a trip down to FL and we had our first meeting. She brought along her mother, father and friend Missy. We had a great meeting discussing details and taste testing cupcakes from Cupcake Crazy in Lake Mary. I was also able to have a favor sample ready from Cards by Kerri. We had a great lunch as well! I look forward to seeing her again in July and hopefully her fiance Erik can join us!
